Introduction

We are thrilled to announce the release of version 1.6 of our Speech to Note application. With this update, we've taken the feedback from our users seriously and focused on improving the usability of the application by addressing key user interface (UI) issues. We believe these changes will greatly enhance your experience with the app.

What’s New

1. State Retention in Filters and Search

   • We have rectified a significant concern where users experienced a loss of state in the table after applying filters or conducting a search. Previously, navigating away from search results would reset filters and searches, causing inconvenience. This release ensures that:

     • The selected filters remain active, and filtered results are retained when navigating back to the dashboard.

     • The text in the search field, as well as the search results and any applied filters, are preserved upon return.

2. Enhanced Note Management

   • To provide a smoother workflow within the application, users can now:

     • Delete Notes: From the single note page, select "Delete Note" to permanently remove a note. Upon deletion, users will return to a refreshed dashboard where the deleted note is no longer visible.

     • Download and Print Options: The updated "Download Note" feature now includes the ability to download an MP3 file or print the note in PDF format, providing both digital and physical copies of the notes. The printable version will include the title, the summary, and the full transcript.

3. Updated Icon Set

   • We have completely overhauled the icons throughout the app to introduce a fresh and modern visual appeal. These new icons have been designed for clarity and consistency to improve navigation and aesthetic of the interface.

Resolved Issues

Alongside these new features, we addressed several minor bugs, both internally discovered and user-reported. These fixes aim to streamline the performance and stability of the application.
