User Eligibility
Our app is available to users aged 8 and above. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Services Provided
The app allows users to record voice inputs and generate various types of notes, including emails, social media posts, and stories. Users can share notes publicly via URL or privately through email or to other registered users.
Subscription Plans
We offer the following subscription plans:
Pro Plan: $5/month or $49/year.
Pro Plus Plan: $10/month or $99/year.
Early adopters who purchase lifetime deals will receive updates equivalent to those available to subscription-based users.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Monthly subscriptions: Full refund if canceled within the active month.
Annual subscriptions: Partial refunds are available for unused months.
Lifetime deals: Refundable within 14 days of purchase.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the following:
Not sharing accounts with others.
Avoiding excessive usage that indicates abuse of the platform (e.g., recording an impractical number of hours).
Ensuring that shared content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
Use the app for illegal or harmful activities.
Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights, promotes hate speech, or contains offensive material.
Violations may result in removal of shared notes, warnings, or account termination.
Data Privacy and Security
All data is securely stored in Amazon S3 buckets and MongoDB databases.
Only authenticated users can access their data.
User voice recordings and transcripts may be processed using OpenAI’s API. By using the app, you consent to data sharing with this third party as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
Users retain full ownership of their notes and content created within the app.
The app will not use or display user content unless explicitly shared for purposes like social media promotion.
Recordings of third-party voices or external audio remain the intellectual property of the original creator.
Note Sharing
Publicly shared notes will be accessible via a public URL.
Future updates will include options for private sharing with specific individuals or registered users.
Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report issues, including inappropriate shared content, to hello@speechnote.com. We reserve the right to take action, including content removal and issuing warnings. Repeat offenders may face account termination.
Disclaimers
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and disclaim liability for downtime caused by third-party services, including OpenAI’s API or content delivery networks.
While we strive for accuracy in AI-generated content, we are not liable for errors or misinterpretations.
