Release Notes: Speech to Note Version 1.9.3

We are excited to announce the rollout of our latest release, Speech to Note Version 1.9.3, packed with significant updates and enhancements. Below, you will find a detailed outline of the new features, improvements, and changes introduced in this version.

1. Introduction of Multi-Transcript Feature

• Description:

  • Users can now add multiple recordings or upload additional files to an existing note.

  • Previously, users could only record once per note and had to type any additional information manually.

• Steps:

  • To add to an existing note, start a new recording or upload an additional file directly into the note page.

  • Users have the option to select or deselect transcripts for inclusion in summary generation.

2. Enhanced Single Note Page with Sidebar Selection

• Description:

  • Language and format dropdowns have been replaced with a sidebar for better usability.

  • A small label now highlights the language and format of a specific summary.

• Steps:

  • Click on the language or format label to open the sidebar.

  • Select the desired language and format from the sidebar.

  • Click the generate button at the bottom of the sidebar to regenerate the summary.

3. Complete Application Font Update

• Description:

  • The fonts across the application have been updated.

  • The landing page has been revamped for a fresh look, highlighting new and upcoming features.

4. Collapsible Notes and Transcripts

• Description:

  • Notes and transcripts are now collapsible to improve navigation, especially within lengthy notes.

• Steps:

  • Use the toggle function to collapse or expand notes and transcripts as needed, allowing easy access to subsequent notes without extensive scrolling.

5. Session Management and Device Limitations

• Description:

  • Limits have been added for the number of devices a user can be logged into:

    • Pro Plus: Maximum of 4 devices

    • Pro: Maximum of 2 devices

  • Manage sessions under the account tab in settings.

• Steps:

  • View browser sessions and log out from specific devices or all devices as desired.

6. New Subscription Plans for New Users

• Description:

  • Existing users remain unaffected, though they will be given an option to migrate to the new plan in the future. New plans are introduced for new users:

    • Pro Plan: Unlimited 15-minute recordings, 100 minutes of upload credits per month.

    • Pro Plus Plan: Unlimited 60-minute recordings, 300 minutes of upload credits per month.

• Notes:

  • The previous 150 minutes of longer audio credits for Pro Plus users has been replaced by unlimited 60-minute recordings for the new users.

7. Webhook Configuration Changes

• Description:

  • Due to the new multi-transcript feature and changes in data structure, webhook data structure has slightly changed.

• Steps:

  • Users utilizing webhooks are advised to reconfigure webhooks to avoid issues.

8. Various UI Enhancements and Bug Fixes

• Description:

  • UI changes introduced across the application.

  • Fixed several minor and major bugs, including issues reported by users.

  • The recorder button on the dashboard has undergone slight modifications.
