We're a small team that got tired of typing

It started on a walk. Early in 2023, on a trail through Dhanori Hills in Pune, Abhishek pitched Kundan on an idea: what if you could just talk, and get a clean note back? Kundan was skeptical — he was buried in a different project at the time — but promised to try.

The first proof of concept came together a few days later on a bus from Pune to Nagpur: an early attempt at turning a movie trailer's audio into notes. It ran straight into upload timeouts and download limits, so we pivoted — skip the detour, upload your own audio directly, generate the note. Abhishek sketched the interface in Figma, bought the first two domains, and we started shipping.

Our first public launch was rocky: slow traffic, a handful of signups, real doubt about whether anyone needed this. Then a few early reviews turned into many. Within six months we'd crossed 20,000+ visitors and 1,200+ paying users, our community had generated 26,000+ notes from 12,000+ hours of recordings, and we launched on Product Hunt — July 24, 2024.

Every one of us had the same habit before this: a voice memo folder full of thoughts we never went back to. Recording was easy. Making sense of it later was the hard part. So we built the tool we wanted — hit record, speak like you'd speak to a friend, and get back a clean, structured note you can actually use. No complex menus. No learning curve. Just your voice, organized.

We shipped the web app first, then Mac, Windows, iOS and Android — because ideas don't wait for you to sit at a desk. Most recently, we rebuilt Windows and Mac as fully native apps, launched August 19, 2026, so you can start recording with a single shortcut key without ever opening a browser tab.
